What is a CEU?
A CEU is a Continuing Education Unit. One CEU is equivalent to 10 training hours. CEUs are used to meet continuing education requirements for licensure and certification in many different professions.
Will my state accept your CEUs?
Each state and certifying agency has different requirements. It is important to contact your State licensing or certifying agency before purchasing a CEU to ensure that it will be accepted for your requirements.
How do I receive my packet once I buy it?
You will receive an immediate email confirmation with a PDF file containing detailed instructions. If you do not receive the email, please contact Sheri Lacy at email@example.com.
How do I take the test once I am done reading the Journal issue?
When you are ready to take the test, click on the test link that came in your confirmation email.
Who do I contact if I am having difficulty with the online exam?
If you have any technical difficulty with the online exam, or questions about receiving your certificate, please contact Denise Wysocki Freeberg at UW-Stout at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 715.232.5484.
How long do I have to take the test and how many times can I access it?
You must complete the test in one sitting. If you do not pass the test with 80% accuracy or better, you will have one chance to retake the test within 30 days.
When do I receive my test results?
When you complete the test, it will be submitted to the University of Wisconsin—Stout (UW-Stout) for scoring. It takes approximately 4 weeks to process and receive your results. Upon successful completion, UW-Stout will send you a certificate of completion.
