Board Member, ZERO TO THREE; consulting editor to the Zero to Three Journal; active in a variety of training efforts locally and nationally, write, consults and serves on a range of advisory boards.

Contributions to the Field
Dr. Pawl has been working with infants, toddlers and their families for nearly thirty years. She has supervised numerous mental health professionals in infant-parent psychotherapy through the Infant-Parent Program at the University of California, San Francisco, which she directed for nearly twenty years. The mental health consultation to childcare centers and family childcare homes provided by the program has spurred many similar efforts. Dr. Pawl has had an important influence on many practitioners in this field through her numerous presentations and workshops.
