Human Resources Director
With over 15 years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, Tracy Crudup has served in various positions for the Commonwealth of Virginia, GEICO and McGraw-Hill, CEC/NRI. In these capacities, she has been instrumental in the development of strategic human resources policies and procedures that support the mission and objective of the organizations in which she served.
As a member of GEICO’s corporate human resources team, she provided oversight and guidance to the regional human resources managers and directors as well as developed supervisory materials and conducted training. While at McGraw Hill, CEC/NRI, she had management responsibility for ensuring proper compliance with divisional as well as corporate policies and procedures. She also managed all other aspects of human resources including salary administration, training and development, performance management and employee relations.
Crudup currently serves in an advisory role on human resources issues to the Southern Maryland Center for Independent Living, a nonprofit organization focused on providing services and advocacy to empower persons with disabilities to lead self-directed, independent and productive lives in their community. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Association for the National Capital Area (HRA-NCA).
Crudup received her BS degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a devoted wife and mother of three.
