Building on work funded with three successive grants from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF), this new DDCF-funded project evaluates the impact of training and coaching on practice in child care programs. Trainers experienced with ZTT's curriculum, Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect: Parent-Provider Partnerships in Child Care are supported in working intensively with local centers or family child care homes. Trainers and center directors participate in training and TA with ZERO TO THREE staff. An outside evaluation measures the impact of this professional development approach on programs, staff members, and families.
