Other Ways To Give

We invite you to consider the following ways to support us.  Each gift has the power to support the healthy development of infants and toddlers.

Securities and Property
Planned Gifts
Workplace Campaigns
Employee Matching Gift Programs

Mail your check, made payable to ZERO TO THREE, to:

1255 23rd Street NW
Suite 350
Washington, DC 20037

Please include instructions on how you would like to be listed in our recognition materials or if you would like to remain anonymous.

Securities and Property

By donating appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds, you may receive a double tax advantage.  You may be able to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a current-year income tax deduction for the full value of your gift.

Donating property may provide an immediate tax deduction, possible estate tax savings or favorable tax treatment on a gain.  A donation of property may include tangible or intangible personal property, or real estate.

  • Tangible personal property includes items such as works of art, antiques, books, gems or precious stones.  Intangible personal property includes copyrights, securities, patents, contracts, promissory notes, royalties, or trademarks.

Planned Gifts

Planned giving is a vital part of ensuring the future of ZERO TO THREE’s important work, and thus, the future of the nation’s infants, toddlers and their families.

We would be pleased to work with you to design the most appropriate vehicle for you such as:

ZERO TO THREE participates in various workplace campaigns to receive charitable donations.  The largest is the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).  If you are a federal employee, donate to ZERO TO THREE by designating the number 11278 on your pledge card.  (Note:  This number can only be used for the CFC).

In addition, ZERO TO THREE participates in United Way and other corporate campaigns.  You can find the number for ZERO TO THREE in your specific workplace campaign brochure or write in ZERO TO THREE on your pledge card.

To facilitate our participation in these campaigns and make it more cost efficient, ZERO TO THREE is a member of two federations:  Independent Charities of America (ICA) and Children’s Charities of America (CCA).

We are proud that we have been awarded the Independent Charities’ “Seal of Excellence,” which recognizes members of ICA and Local ICA that, upon rigorous independent review, have been able to demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability and program and cost effectiveness.

Employee Matching Gift Programs
