Build your organization’s capacity to support infant and toddler educators. ZERO TO THREE faculty will guide a cohort of up to 20 trainers through an intensive five-part virtual training for each Critical Competencies Area. Trainers can choose to complete one or all three Critical Competencies areas.

Area 3: Supporting Language & Literacy Development
This Micro-ToT prepares early childhood professional development (PD) specialists to deliver Area 3: Supporting Language and Literacy Development, of the ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies curriculum (i.e., 9 hours of Critical Competencies professional development). The Micro-ToT also provides information and support for PD specialists and other adult educators who wish to become a ZERO TO THREE Approved Trainer: Critical Competencies, Area 3. Upon completion of the ToT, ZERO TO THREE approved trainers are permitted to synchronously deliver the Area 3 Critical Competencies Course curriculum virtually, in synchronous virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats, as originally designed.
