ZERO TO THREE and Parentivity have announced a new partnership to support parents of young children in reducing family risk and maximizing their resourcefulness.

WASHINGTON — ZERO TO THREE and Parentivity have announced a new partnership to support parents of young children in reducing family risk and maximizing their resourcefulness. The two organizations have agreed to share content relevant to families, and to provide evidence-based information in an interactive web-based format. Content will cover multiple areas including brain development, early literacy, setting limits, science and math.

ZERO TO THREE is a national organization that works to ensure that babies and toddlers benefit from the early connections that are critical to their well-being and development. Founded in 1977, ZERO TO THREE now reaches millions of parents, professionals and policymakers each year. The organization takes a unique approach to child development by providing adults who care for young children with the research, resources and tools they need to improve children’s lives. ZERO TO THREE is supported by federal, state, and local governments, as well as through private donations and non-profit foundations.

Parentivity is a new web-based community that provides customized evidence-based information to parents with children from conception to age five. Parentivity captures data on child development to personalize relevant information for parents, which is provided through engaging and interactive games, videos, and personal assessments. Parentivity content includes user friendly materials on relevant topics such as: pregnancy, infant care, early literacy, special needs, fatherhood, and more. Parentivity supports the goals of the federal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program, and was initially developed with funding provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Parentivity is a product of Quality Assist, an early education company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Quality Assist was founded in 1987 and developed the Parentivity community.

“We are pleased to be working with Parentivity, to reach out to parents through a new technology-based system,” said Matthew Melmed, Executive Director of ZERO TO THREE.

“The Parentivity team looks forward to our collaboration with ZERO TO THREE to provide more high quality information to parents of young children,” said Dr. Annette Sibley, President and CEO of Quality Assist, which developed Parentivity.
