WASHINGTON — ZERO TO THREE is proud to introduce the Learning Center – a new, integrated platform that connects early childhood professionals from all sectors to high-quality learning experiences to help advance their careers.

The Learning Center is the hub for ZERO TO THREE’s professional development work. It offers a robust data system to support competency-based learning, workforce development, and learning management – all in one easy-to-access platform. It is built on the multi-disciplinary ZERO TO THREE Competencies for Prenatal to Age 5 Professionals (P-5 Competencies), which provide a foundation for collaboration and professional development to deepen and support work within and across early childhood disciplines.

“This one-of-a-kind approach to professional development will provide learners with a comprehensive record of their activities,” said Matthew Melmed, Executive Director of ZERO TO THREE. “The Learning Center is designed with early childhood professionals in mind, offering the convenience of a mobile-friendly system that provides the power of professional development in the palm of your hand.”

The Learning Center is powered by Insight, an offering of New World. “ZERO TO THREE’s efforts in driving professional development and trainer certification were a perfect match for the Insight system,” said Dale Voss, Owner and Managing Director of New World. “We look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship with such a forward-thinking partner.”

ZERO TO THREE’s Learning Center will offer both comprehensive online courses and in-person learning events available to multi-disciplinary individuals and organizations. Learners will have their own profile with convenient access to professional development options, special events, and current learning records. It will provide individuals with access to unique educational experiences they can only find at ZERO TO THREE:

  • Three different certifications for trainers, including the ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™, The Growing Brain: From Birth to 5 Years Old, and DC:0-5™ (pilot);
  • The ZERO TO THREE Annual Conference Library, where learners can access hundreds of sessions from the most recent Annual Conferences; and
  • A growing catalog of in-person and online events and courses designed specifically to deepen and support professionals who work within and across early childhood disciplines.

Registration for the Learning Center is at no cost. Individuals will simply pay just for the professional development and services that they take. ZERO TO THREE members receive exclusive discounts of up to 20% off ZERO TO THREE’s products and services.
