Christopher Barnes is the ZERO TO THREE Lead of the National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations.
Prior to joining Zero to Three, Chris participated in the development and presentation of workshops on fiscal operations and governance as well as the use of Head Start and child care subsidy funds and its impact on quality programming. Chris’ background also includes experience as a Grantee Specialist in Region 3; fiscal training and consulting for non-profit organizations throughout the country; and serving as Senior Director of Child & Family Services at St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. Chris is a graduate of the Johnson & Johnson Head Start Management training program at the Anderson Business School at UCLA and the NIKE Leadership Fellows Program at the NIKE World Headquarters in Portland, OR. These programs are geared to perfecting the skills of top-level managers in the field of private sector, non-profit entities. He holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lincoln University in PA.
