Christy Stanton is a Senior Content Specialist for the Professional Development and Workforce Innovations department at ZERO TO THREE.
In this role, Christy develops and delivers training experiences to early childhood professionals across disciplines, and across the nation! Christy is part of a team seeking to create supportive and engaging learning environments so that professionals receive relevant and practical information, allowing them to facilitate optimal outcomes for young children and their families. Christy also provides technical assistance to home visiting programs at both the state and tribal levels through the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program.
Christy holds a Master of Social Work degree and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and Spanish. As a social worker with more than 25 years of experience with children and families, she has held clinical, training and supervision positions. Christy has practiced in school, home and community-based settings primarily with children and families speaking Spanish as their primary language.
