Katrina is lead faculty for our Critical Competencies. In addition to being a bilingual, newlywed, cake-loving yoga instructor, she is an amazing listener – connecting to coaches and educators in the field with compassion, honesty and real-world solutions.
As a Content Specialist, Katrina assists in the design and co-delivery of presentations at state, regional, and national early childhood conferences and meetings. In addition, Katrina contributes to the development of research-based and evidence-informed infant-toddler competencies, professional learning options, and other department content. Katrina joined ZERO TO THREE in January 2017 after working as an Instructional Coach for the Orange County Department of Education and as a Child Development Instructor for Saddleback College. Katrina has an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in human development.
