Laura Ptucha is a Data Analyst for HealthySteps.
As the Data Analyst for the HealthySteps project, Laura is the primary liaison for HealthySteps sites during annual data collection, and she supports the team’s overall research and evaluation efforts.
Prior to this position, Laura served as the evaluation team lead for two community-based programs at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California, which focused on identifying and addressing developmental, social-emotional, and familial needs for children ages 0 – 5. She has a strong background in evaluation and early childhood, including experience in preparing quarterly and annual reports for local, state, and federal projects; tracking and analyzing process and outcomes data; and working closely with child welfare, early intervention, and early education systems.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, San Diego and her master’s degree at Columbia University’s Teachers College in New York City. In addition to her 10+ years in the evaluation field, she has worked directly with K-3 students in classrooms in New York, California, and South Korea.
