Contributions to the Field
Mrs. Stein is an active community leader in Los Angeles, highly engaged and committed to addressing the needs of infants and toddlers. She co-founded the Tikun Olam Foundation with her husband Gene. Mrs. Stein has played a leadership role in various community endeavors. She has served as Chair of the Children’s Bureau of LA where she led the Program and Policy Committees. She is a member of the Every Child Foundation and served on the Grant Screening Committee. She has also chaired the Development Committee for the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation and was Vice-Chair of Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena.
Mrs. Stein is a speech pathologist by training who actively worked in the field for more than 15 years.
