Valeri Lane, PhD, was most recently the Project Director for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program Technical Assistance Coordinating Center (MIECHV TACC) at ZERO TO THREE.
In this capacity, she was responsible for the delivery of technical assistance to the HRSA-funded state and territory MIECHV grantees.
Previous positions at ZERO TO THREE include Sr. Research Analyst/Writer for the Early Head Start National Resource Center (EHS NRC) and Writer/Program Analyst for the National Infant & Toddler Child Care Initiative (NITCCI). In her position of Sr. Research Analyst, she was responsible for analysis and reporting of data and qualitative inputs to the project, informing the direction of materials and products needed among EHS grantees. While with NITCCI, she provided technical assistance to states on early learning guidelines, infant/toddler credentials, quality rating systems, and consultation to infant/toddler programs.
From 1992 through 2006, Valeri was Director of Family and Child Development for a non-profit organization in Sedalia, Missouri, responsible for programs and services covering Part C, early care and education, child abuse/neglect, and Early Head Start, including a state-funded EHS-CCP option. She also served as adjunct faculty in the Early Childhood department at State Fair Community College from 2004 – 2007.
