Knowledge and Know-How Supports Organizational Quality

These online lessons are instrumental in ensuring early childhood professionals have the core knowledge required to work effectively with parents of very young children.

Knowledge and Know-How: Nurturing Child Well Being online lessons were grown from grant provided by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to develop 8 online lessons called Sharing the Care: Partnering to Promote Well-Being.

It is challenging to find professionals with the core knowledge required to work effectively with parents of very young children, and to collaborate effectively in order to meet their complex needs. The content developed in the Sharing the Care online lessons helped fill this knowledge gap. Through a shared understanding of the needs of very young children and their families, and shared knowledge essential to effective responses to these needs, this project enhanced cross-disciplinary efforts to build family strengths and promote optimal child well-being.
