The National Infant-Toddler Court Program (ITCP), operated by ZERO TO THREE, announced a new funding opportunity on January 18th for local communities seeking to implement the Safe Babies Court Team™ (SBCT) approach.

Infant-toddler court teams using the SBCT™ approach provide a trauma-informed, collaborative, problem-solving structure for meeting the developmental needs of very young children in foster care or at risk of removal from the home and strengthening their families. With support from the Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, funding will be made available to enhance site capacity for best practices that drive improved outcomes for very young children and families involved with the child welfare system and dependency court.

The ZERO TO THREE National Resource Center for the ITCP released the Request for Applications on January 18, 2022. Applications are due on February 18, 2022 by 5pm EST to Heather Schmidt at hfriedman@zerotothree.org.
