An increasing number of young children are exposed to more than one language from birth. Dual language learning has many benefits for children and families, including stronger connections to family and culture. This session discusses the science of dual language development, identifies evidence-based strategies for supporting dual or multi-language development, and identifies systems to create a welcome language environment for dual language learners and their families.
