Meet State Senator Mike Massie & State Representative Elaine Harvey, State of Wyoming
Wyoming’s leaders often wear a variety of hats in order to forge the connections necessary to make their rural communities thrive. So it’s not surprising that a grandmother working as a substitute teacher and a historian serving as a volunteer fireman also proudly represent their neighbors as elected state legislators. This special interview article features two state legislators from Wyoming who regularly champion legislation for very young children. Fully cognizant that today’s actions will impact the lives of generations to come, these two leaders recently worked together to pass the state’s quality child care system legislation. They utilized research and best practices to improve the lives of Wyoming’s infants, toddlers and their families.
