Prenatal to Age Five (P-5) Cross-Sector Core Competencies Training: Preliminary Evaluation Findings
This webinar, created by the ZERO TO THREE Western Office, highlights the preliminary evaluation findings of P-5 Cross-Sector Core Competencies Training aimed to support cross-sector, collaborative efforts across Los Angeles County.
ZERO TO THREE is piloting an online training on the Prenatal to Age Five (P-5) Cross-Sector Competencies to help strengthen the capacity of early childhood professionals to engage in cross-sector collaborative efforts in Los Angeles County. The Cross-Sector Core Competencies were created to develop a shared understanding and promote collaboration among professionals across the sectors. They provide a foundation for professional development for the P-5 service providers. The eight domains do not replace discipline-specific competencies. Rather they have a broad purpose to strengthen professional competencies on shared fundamental concepts and to facilitate cross-sector partnerships and coordinated service delivery. The P-5 Cross-Sector Core Competencies Training includes eight interactive, ONLINE lessons, four facilitated Community of Practice sessions, and various opportunities to put knowledge into action through optional field work. Learn more about the training and the project’s preliminary evaluation findings in this webinar.
