What’s New and Noteworthy at ZERO TO THREE
From ZERO TO THREE’s Executive Director, Matthew Melmed
Dear ZERO TO THREE Members,
It’s been an especially busy time for all of us at ZERO TO THREE. From planning for our Annual Conference to our policy work with the new Administration and creating new resources for parents and professionals, our staff is moving full steam ahead. I could not be prouder of the work we are doing to shine a light on the needs of babies, toddlers, and their families.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the end of November for our Annual Conference in San Diego. In the meantime, below are the highlights of some of our recent activities and accomplishments:
- A ZERO TO THREE 40th Anniversary Celebration is being planned as the rousing finale on Friday at the Annual Conference. Please plan to join us!
- In September, the Policy Center released the new Infant-Toddler Child Care Toolkit, which offers advocates the tools and materials they need to effectively share what they know with policymakers and their networks.
- Parenting Resources staff developed a range of materials that examined the growing trend of grandparents providing child care for young grandchildren. These included a literature review and executive summary, three infographics, and eight resources for professionals and grandparents.
- From affordable quality child care to statistics on fatherhood to the five things that matter most when it comes to your babies and toddlers—that’s what is in the news this month. Here is a small sampling of some noteworthy summer media coverage of ZERO TO THREE:
Thank you for being a part of ZERO TO THREE. We welcome your feedback! Please feel free to email our Member Services department to share your questions, concerns, or suggestions.
