In this resource
Infant-toddler court teams using the SBCT™ approach provide a trauma-informed, collaborative, problem-solving structure for meeting the developmental needs of very young children in foster care or at risk of removal from the home and strengthening their families. With support from the Health Resources and Services Administration Maternal and Child Health Bureau, funding will be made available to new states and jurisdictions seeking to implement an infant-toddler court team, and to jurisdictions currently implementing an infant-toddler court program in their communities.
The purpose of this funding is to enhance and expand state and site capacity for best practices that drive improved outcomes for very young children and families involved with the child welfare system and dependency court.
The ZERO TO THREE National Resource Center for the ITCP released the Request for Applications on June 15th.
Applications are due on July 24 by 5 pm EST and should be submitted electronically to Janie Huddleston at firstname.lastname@example.org.
