Allyson Dean is the Senior Director of Training and Quality for the National Center for Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning (NCECDTL).

Allyson oversees training and technical assistance for the National Center on Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning (NCECDTL). Allyson’s previous work at ZERO TO THREE includes serving as a Senior Content Specialist, the Content Lead for Early Educator Central: The Pathway to Credentials and Degrees for Infant-Toddler Educators, and the Lead Senior Writer and Infant-Toddler Specialist for the National Center on Child Care Professional Development Systems and Workforce Initiatives (PDW Center). Allyson is a co-author of ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™. Prior to joining ZERO TO THREE, Allyson worked at the University of Southern Maine as the Director of Maine Roads to Quality, Maine’s early childhood professional development center. Allyson holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Maine.
