Integrating IECMH into Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics

VirtualRegister

As Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) expand nationwide, they are reshaping access to mental health care. Yet too often, the needs of infants, toddlers and their families are overlooked.

ZERO TO THREE’s Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Financing Policy Project has released a new toolkit that equips early childhood and behavioral health leaders to build strong, family-centered systems of care, designed to:

  • Inform infant and early childhood leaders and practitioners about the CCBHC model.
  • Encourage engagement in shaping infant and early childhood service arrays.
  • Support CCBHC leaders in connecting with infant and early childhood systems and integrating IECMH services.

Join ZERO TO THREE for a national webinar where we’ll release the new toolkit and hear from:

  • The National Council for Mental Wellbeing, highlighting national CCBHC expansion and opportunities for IECMH integration.
  • State IECMH teams, sharing how their collaboration with CCBHCs increases access to high-quality services across the continuum, from promotion and prevention to assessment and clinical treatment for infants, young children (0–6 years) and their families.

Featured speakers:

Ann Mukherjee, MPP, Policy and Advocacy Manager, National Council for Mental Wellbeing

Lisa McGarrie, MSW, LCSW, Lead Policy and Finance Specialist, Safe Babies, ZERO TO THREE
