ZERO TO THREE and the Bezos Family Foundation are excited to share the findings from a comprehensive research effort of parents of children aged birth to five.
Tuning In: Parents of Young Children Tell Us What They Think, Know and Need revealed that parents struggle with finding effective ways to discipline their children. They try many different strategies but find them mostly ineffective, especially harsher methods such as spanking and yelling.
To address this “Discipline Dilemma”, ZERO TO THREE has created a range of resources to help parents tune in to the meaning of their child’s behavior and develop a discipline approach that works best for their individual child and family.
