Strengthening the IECMH Workforce: New Competencies, Shared Supports

In a time when mental health challenges are touching families and professionals alike, supporting the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) workforce has never been more critical.

In a time when mental health challenges are touching families and professionals alike, supporting the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) workforce has never been more critical. Join the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health, the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health, and Noelle Hause from ZERO TO THREE, for an engaging conversation on how national tools and frameworks are aligning to meet this urgent need.

This session introduces the Alliance’s new IECMH competencies and explores how they align with ZERO TO THREE’s IECMH Guiding Principles and trainings. Together, these resources offer a shared foundation to strengthen professional capacity, promote reflective practice, and build resilience in those who care for our youngest children and their families.
