Child Trends and Safe Babies™, a program of ZERO TO THREE, presented findings from a study of six states focused on strategies for expanding prevention for infants and toddlers and their families, including through the Family First Prevention Services Act. There is also a dialogue with state and parent leaders on how they have developed and refined their prevention work for very young children and families, barriers and facilitators to the work, and how prevention-oriented agencies can partner to support families.

Presenters:
  • Kendra Dunn, Director, Division of Community and Family Support, Colorado Department of Early Childhood
  • Kimberly Nabarro, Parent Leader, Safe Babies, ZERO TO THREE
  • Jaclyn Szrom, Senior Policy Manager, Safe Babies, ZERO TO THREE
  • Rebecca Vivrette, Research Scientist, Child Trends
