Safe Babies™, a program of ZERO TO THREE, hosted the 17th annual Cross Sites Meeting and eLearning Series, Growing Connections, Capacity, and Relationships.

This Cross Sites 2023 eLearning session provides foundational information about American Indian and Alaska Native peoples, tribal governments, and Native communities. It provides a brief history of major federal Indian policy periods and describes the impact of policy on Native communities and families historically and today. It also offers a framework for understanding Native cultures, similarities and differences between linear and relational worldviews, and tips for effective cross-cultural communication and relationship-building.
