Surprised Black baby boy sitting on floor playing with books

Oprah Winfrey’s recent report for 60 Minutes shined a spotlight on Treating Childhood Trauma, a subject close to our hearts and core to our mission.

We know far too many children face adversity and trauma in the earliest years of their lives. ZERO TO THREE exists to ensure that, with caring adults and loving relationships, trauma is not their destiny.

Our Chief Policy Officer Myra Jones-Taylor watched Oprah’s report, Treating Childhood Trauma, and responded.

Of course, we then had to take it a “two-step” further…

Oprah said she wishes she could dance on a table to help raise awareness for this topic, so we took a cue from her and did just that! Take a minute to watch the video and boogie down yourself, then share it with everyone you know. “This story is so important to me, and I believe to our culture.” – Oprah Winfrey

Help us raise awareness: Dance, post and tag!

  1. Grab your phone, climb up on a table, and boogie down for the cause. Get creative! Have your friends, colleagues, family members, neighbors or pets join you. Any type of table will do – dining room table, conference room table, coffee table or ping pong table – if it supports you, we support your idea!
  2. Share your video on social media and please tag @zerotothree @Oprah and a friend! Please use the hashtag #NoMoreTrauma
