PLAN & PLAY Sheets
These PLAN & PLAY sheets have been designed to support mentor coaches and home visitors in helping parents support their children’s development.
The PLAN and PLAY sheets grew out of the ZERO TO THREE training curriculum: Cradling Literacy: Building Teachers’ Skills to Nurture Early Language and Literacy from Birth to Five.
The PLAN & PLAY Sheets are designed to help you:
Plan and implement home visits that support positive parent-child interactions;
Understand and discuss how children’s school readiness skills develop from birth;
Provide parents with the information and parenting strategies they need to nurture their children’s school readiness skills in the first three years; and
Establish a long-term, collaborative relationship with parents in which they, and their children, feel supported, comfortable, safe, and nurtured.
This member-exclusive resource will be updated with new content periodically.
