Lorna’s Advocacy for Early Childhood Mental Health

In partnership with Think Babies, Lorna wants other families to know that there are ways they can advocate for their children.

When Lorna Harris-Fisher noticed her son Jude’s severe sleep and feeding issues, she struggled to find timely and adequate support. Through ZERO TO THREE’s Strolling Thunder™ program, Lorna shared her family’s journey with policymakers, advocating for improved mental health resources for babies and families. Her story highlights the critical need for early diagnosis and treatment of social-emotional challenges in young children. Learn more about how ZERO TO THREE empowers families to be change agents in their communities.

“I hope that people out there know that they can advocate firmly for their children.”
