Katrina Macasaet is lead faculty for ZERO TO THREE’s Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™.
Katrina talks about her experiences within the early childhood field as an educator and now as a trainer of early childhood educators nationwide. As a Filipina woman, she talks about the importance of caring for young children of Asian heritage who, though young, recognize that there are more similarities than differences in skin tone and hair color between them. This representation is significant in the work of promoting racial equity, diversity, and inclusion within the early childhood field and beyond.
