As a maternal and early childhood leader, researcher and strategist, Aika Aluc is driven by the belief that lasting change begins with designing care around how children and families actually experience it.
Her work bridges maternal health, early childhood, research, policy, governance and community engagement, with a focus on strengthening connections across systems so families experience care as a coordinated continuum. Throughout her career, Aluc has worked across federal, nonprofit, academic and state governance settings.
Aluc holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in maternal and child health
from the George Washington University and is pursuing a PhD in population health at Lehigh University. She serves as vice chair of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange Board of Trustees, where she contributes to governance and strategic discussions related to health coverage, access and community engagement.
