Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dubai Health, Vice President, Emirates Mental Health Society

As a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at Dubai Health in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Fatima Youssef assesses and treats neurodevelopmental disorders, infant and early childhood mental health, anxiety, mood disorders and complex psychiatric conditions affecting children and adolescents. She also serves as deputy program director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Dubai Health and vice president of the Emirates Mental Health Society.Ā 

Dr. Youssef has led multidisciplinary initiatives to redesign autism diagnostic pathways, significantly improving timely access to assessment and early intervention for children and their families. She is involved in developing clinical guidelines, supervising psychiatric trainees and advancing evidence-based child and adolescent mental healthcare services.Ā 

She is board-certified in psychiatry through the Arab Board of Health Specializations and completed the Saudi Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Youssef is also a founding member of the Emirates ADHD Chapter, the Emirates Autism Spectrum Disorder Chapter and the Emirates Precision Psychiatry Special Interest Group under the Emirates Medical Association.Ā
