Senior Writer/Training Specialist

Jodie Fishman leads ZERO TO THREE’s work with the National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness (NCECHW), creating educational resources on a variety of health topics for home visitors and families with young children.

Jodie also leads a project on Zika education with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Previously, she wrote and managed all content for Text4baby, reaching hundreds of thousands of new and expectant moms with important health and safety information via text message.

Jodie has worked on numerous women’s health programs, including BodyWorks and National Women’s Health Week on behalf of the HHS Office on Women’s Health. She previously ran an STI screening and education program for American soldiers stationed in Korea, as well as worked on health-related programming for Discovery Communications. Jodie holds a Master of Public Health with a focus in maternal and child health and is a master certified health education specialist (MCHES) and a breastfeeding peer health educator. She is also a regular HuffPost contributor.
