Keren Angelia Gunawan

Project Manager, Paideia Educational Solutions

Keren Angelia Gunawan’s background spans classroom teaching, curriculum design, teacher training, inclusive school system building and education consultancy in Indonesia and the United States. She works to strengthen how schools and educators support children with diverse abilities and their families. 

Gunawan most recently designed and delivered inclusive support services across a school’s International Baccalaureate programs, where she secured additional special education and shadow-teacher staffing and launched a pre-vocational program. She works with schools and special education centers in Indonesia to build their systems, programs and team capacity to serve children with diverse abilities. 

She is the founder of Fonik Asyik, a national early-literacy initiative that has trained more than 100 teachers and parents and distributed educational resources to under-resourced schools across Indonesia. Gunawan holds an EdM in Intellectual Disability/Autism in Early Childhood from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Diploma in Montessori Education and a bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from Pelita Harapan University.
