Consultant, Mindfulness in Early Childhood

Mindfulness in Early Childhood Consultant

Luci enjoys turning values into actions and ideas into innovative programs and services. Luci’s early career as a licensed Clinical Psychologist was spent providing direct care and supervision in a variety of clinical settings where she integrated mindfulness into evidence-based therapies. Over the past ten years, Luci turned her focus to prevention efforts and began researching, developing and implementing community-based programs to build resilience and leadership in individuals and groups across business and educational settings. Working collaboratively with the Let’s Connect team (based at UC Boulder) from 2012-2017, Luci was proud to see their sustained efforts resulted in the Let’s Connect Program being designated a promising strategy for trauma-informed care in early care and education settings by the NCTSN. Partnering with ZERO TO THREE on the Mindfulness in Early Childhood Project has been and especially satisfying experience, fulfilling her interest in supporting culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary teams in bringing mindfulness to their organizations. The ZERO TO THREE mission of nurturing young children through caring relationships aligns with Luci’s core belief that when we cultivate our compassionate and calm presence, we turn ordinary moments of into extraordinary opportunities for spreading peace and wisdom.
