Madeline Daniels Benderev

Madeline Daniels Benderev is the Director of Digital Strategy at ZERO TO THREE shaping the organization’s online presence and digital marketing efforts.

Madeline’s career includes extensive communications experience at the intersection of children’s advocacy, policy, and family economics. She previously served as the Communications Director for America Saves, a national social marketing campaign managed by the Consumer Federation of America to motivate low- and moderate-income families to save money. Before that, she led digital communications at First Focus, a bipartisan children’s advocacy organization.

Madeline also worked on Capitol Hill as a Staff Assistant in the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions where she supported staff with a broad portfolio of oversight and disability issues. She graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism.

Madeline has her own 0-3-year-old who reminds her every day that most things are either “too funny” or cool if you slow down and pay attention. She lives with her family in Washinton, DC, and fills her spare time admiring trucks (so many trucks), cross-stitching, thrifting children’s books for their Free Little Library, and binging audiobooks or podcasts.
