Samantha Peyton is a senior policy and program officer at the Low Income Investment Fund, where she supports advocacy and policy research related to early care and education facilities. Her work includes integrating climate resiliency into early childhood education facilities and strengthening children’s connection to nature.
Peyton’s approach is informed by her experience teaching in toddler and preschool classrooms, as well as prior work at SRI International as an education research associate and early childhood technical assistance specialist.
Peyton holds a master’s degree in politics and education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington and a Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
