Home Visiting and Preschool Development Grants Birth-Five Strategies and Examples

During the summer of 2019, ZERO TO THREE conducted a scan of 2018 State Preschool Development Grant Birth-Five applications posted online and worked with state administrators to describe activities that had been initiated.

During the summer of 2019, ZERO TO THREE (ZTT) conducted a scan of 2018 State Preschool Development Grant Birth-Five applications posted online and worked with state administrators to describe activities that had been initiated. The activities would support:

  • including home visiting in the needs assessment process,
  • developing the system of home visiting services,
  • connecting families to early childhood services, including home visiting and
  • providing training and other supports to home visitors.

Activities listed in the document are in different stages of development and ZTT will continue to track progress and outcomes as more information becomes available.
