Sr. Training and Technical Assistance Specialist

Heidi leads our Pre-Service Training offerings. A 20-year veteran of early childhood education, from Colorado classrooms to national initiatives with ZERO TO THREE, she’s fueled by one core belief: transforming outcomes for children starts with empowering the people who teach them. She brings real-world experience across Head Start, public schools, and private programs, and a genuine passion for preparing the next generation of educators to meet every child where they are.

Katrina Macasaet is an accomplished early childhood professional with over 10 years of experience in workforce development, curriculum design, coaching, and professional learning. As Senior Professional Development Manager at ZERO TO THREE, she leads national and international professional development initiatives, oversees trainer certification and quality assurance for the ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™ and The Growing Brain from Birth to 5 Years OldKatrina leads the development of research-based learning experiences for educators and systems leaders. Her background in higher education and adult learning further strengthens her expertise in instructional practice, reflective learning, and educator development. Katrina’s work is dedicated to advancing access to high-quality early learning and strengthening the early childhood workforce through coaching, technical assistance, and reflective practice. Build skills with critical competencies for infant-toddler educators focused on development, relationships, and effective practice.

Lisa brings over 25 years of experience bridging the gap between systems-level thinking and what actually happens in classrooms. From Head Start programs to private early learning settings, she’s worked across the spectrum. A college faculty member, quality improvement champion, and soon-to-be EdD, she’s driven by a clear mission: serving children holistically and helping programs meet both emotional and academic needs.
