Join the Think Babies™ Campaign!

Learn about how you can get involved in the Think Babies™ campaign to promote enriching early experiences and a strong foundation from the start. It's time for policymakers to think babies.

The science is clear that babies’ brains grow faster between birth and 3 years old than at any later point in their lives. When babies don’t get what their growing brains need during this crucial time, it can lead to life-long developmental, educational, social, and health challenges.

ZERO TO THREE designed the Think Babies™ campaign to promote enriching early experiences and a strong foundation for development from the start. When we think babies, we build a better future for us all.

Think Babies™ is a national initiative that advocates for policies and investments to support the healthy development of infants and toddlers. Focused on promoting access to quality childcare, paid family leave, infant and early childhood mental health services, and family economic security, Think Babies ensures that our youngest children get the strong start they need to thrive. A centerpiece of the campaign is Strolling Thunder, an annual advocacy event where families from across the country meet with lawmakers to share their stories and champion policies that prioritize the needs of babies and their families. Together, Think Babies and Strolling Thunder amplify the voices of families and highlight the importance of investing in early childhood.
